Maddy K (grade 11) has been selected to participate in the Heritage Youth Research Summer Program (HYRS). This summer Maddy will have the opportunity to participate in health research projects & digital health research projects at the University of Alberta, Faculty of Medicine. Maddy is really excited for this opportunity. Congratulations Maddy.
Andrew S (grade 11) has been accepted into the Savannah College of Art and Design’s Rising Star program! This is a competitive course for students finishing grade 11. Rising Star is extremely rigorous and students work at an accelerated pace. Within five weeks, Andrew will have completed two full-course workload in film production and story. Congratulations Andrew.
Riley B (grade 11) has signed a contract with Knights of Meaford Junior A Hockey Club in Ontario. Riley will travel to Ontario end of August to train and get ready for the hockey season. Riley is excited for this opportunity and in hopes of receiving a scholarship and being able to play the game he loves to play. Congratulations Riley.
