Did you know that teachers write their own biographies?  Keep that in mind the next time you read something like, “This teacher is driven by his own passionate commitment to the educational process”.

Mr. Gauthier is of an undeterminable age.  According to his students, he is anywhere from 35 to 104.  He has been teaching as long as he can remember, which is from 1998 on.

In his foggy past he has been “schooled” himself, at NAIT (for commercial cooking), at North American Baptist College (now Taylor University ) and at the University of Alberta . Before coming to Living Waters, he worked as a pizza delivery dude, a cook and a night watchman at a youth hostel in Amsterdam .

Mr. Gauthier’s interests include playing music badly, cooking stuff, and shooting cool videos, for which he has won a few awards over the years.

Some of the things he enjoys most at school are directing plays, getting students to cook, teaching film studies and having students act out scenes from Shakespeare in class. This teacher is driven by his own passionate commitment to the educational process.

Mr. Gauthier currently resides in the town of Stony Plain where the wild run free and rust never sleeps.  He lives there with his lovely wife and two sweet daughters.
