- Living Waters Christian Academy serves the Christian Community of Parkland County and beyond. We maintain a high standard of accountability through careful reporting, rigorous attention to quality, and long range planning.
LWCA prepares a yearly Three Year Education Plan, which is available at the school office and is reviewed by the Regional Office of Alberta Education.
The Annual Education Results Report evaluates the previous school year in terms of the goals set out in the Three Year Plan. Standardized tests are given to Grades 3, 6, and 9 annually and the results are compared to the provincial and district results. Our grade 12 students write government diploma exams. Grades 2, 4, 5, 7, and 8 are given the Canadian Test of Basic Skills annually to monitor progress.
LWCA is accountable to its board of directors who are selected by a nomination committee and elected by the LWCA society. An annual meeting is held to elect board members who serve a three year term.
